Sellers description:
1969 Jaguar E-type 2+2. I purchased this car 11 years ago from the originial owner. The car was purchased new in Atlanta, Ga and I purchased it in Fla. I also have all the original papers, bill of sale, manuels and warranty plate with the car. When I purchased the car, it needed to be restored. The miles on the car are the originial. I completely disassembled the body and striped it to the bare metal. There is absolutely no rust found on the tub. The only rust that was found was the right hand headlight bucket and lower bonnett hinge panel. They both were replaced with Martin Roby parts. The car was blocked and refinished in the originial regency red with Dupont chroma base paint. All the rubber has been replaced. The front and rear bumpers are the original and have been rechromed. All the exterior lenses in excellent original condition or n.o.s. It has a complete new rubber kit installed. The brakes are all new with stainless pistons and new rotors. The exhaust is new originial style. It has a new clutch. Full tune-up on the engine. The power steering rack has been rebuilt with new hoses. The a/c has all new hoses. The car runs and drives flawlessly. This is not a concours car but an excellent driving and eye catching example. The interior is mostly originial. The headliner and visors have been recovered. The carpet is originial except for the 2 front flat floor pieces. The front seats have been recovered in the originial pattern but in vinyl. The dash has 2 very small cracks at the corners of the defroster ducts. The only things missing on the car are the left side turn signal cover at the steering column and the spare tire hold-down. All the wheels are in excellent shape. They are the 6" later wheels with Pirelli tires. The original wheel nuts have been replaced with earlier knockoffs but I have the original nuts and tools to install them.
