This 1969 Jaguar XKE 2+2 is finished in white over red leather and was purchased out of Michigan in 1995 by the seller’s husband, who registered it in Texas before ownership was transferred to his wife, the seller, in 2020. The car is powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six equipped with dual Zenith-Stromberg carburetors and paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes knock-off wire wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, and an aftermarket stereo system. This Series II coupe is now offered with service records dating back to the 1980s and a clean Texas title in the seller’s name that lists the car as a 1968 Jaguar.

The body was refinished in white in 2006 and features a driver-side mirror, US-market side markers, chrome bumpers, and dual exhaust outlets.

Chrome-finished 15” wire wheels with earless knock-off hubs are wrapped in Uniroyal Tiger Paw whitewall tires measuring 205/70. A jack, knock-off nut, and a matching spare equipped with an older Michelin radial are included in the sale.

The four-seat cabin is upholstered in red leather with a matching console and door panels. Equipment includes shoulder harnesses for the front and rear occupants as well as a Kenwood CD player linked to a pair of JVC speakers. Wear is evident on the seat upholstery and foam base, and splits are visible on the top of the front seat squabs.

Smiths instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer and a 6k-rpm tachometer as well as auxiliary gauges in the center stack. The five-digit odometer shows 89k miles, and true mileage is unknown.

The 4.2-liter inline-six features a pair of Zenith-Stromberg sidedraft carburetors and was rated at 245 horsepower when new. Shifting is through a three-speed automatic transmission. Maintenance completed in September 2020 included servicing the carburetors, replacing the fuel lines, and changing the engine oil and filter. Additional corrosion on portions of the mechanicals are visible. Service records dating back to the late 1980s and previous ownership will accompany the vehicle.
