Ebay item 1/16/16
www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-E-Type-XKE-SERIES-1-2-3-JAG-COUPE-2-2-1968-1969-1970-197 ...
Opening bid US $19,690.00
Reserve not met no bids 6 days left in auction. Seller lowzacha, 63k miles.

Sellers description:
Offered for sale is a solid example of a 1969 Jaguar E-Type 2+2. This Jag is an extremely roadworthy driving car, with a 4.2L in-line six cylinder engine and four speed manual transmission. This vehicle runs, drives, and stops splendidly with no known driving defects. The car not only boasts matching engine numbers and a restoration from the early 2000s, but also has been religiously garaged when it was not driven. This Jaguar E-Type 2+2 has a lustrous coat of Regency Red paint paired with original black leather seats. All glass, wire rims, chrome, leather and paint are in great shape, showing only minimum wear and defects. This is a car that has never left me stranded and I am not afraid to take it on any trip, regardless of distance. Comes fitted with a fiberglass covered headlight hood that is atypical of the Series II cars but, in my opinion, is more aesthetically pleasing. Additional benefits of this 'aftermarket racing performance modification' is the fiberglass hood is much lighter in weight than the original steel. For cosmetic enhancement, this car has been fitted with non-ribbed aluminum cam covers that are more reminiscent of the Series I cars. Also included in the sale are the correct ribbed cam covers if the buyer desires them. This car has no known rust or mechanical issues and absolutely turns heads anywhere it is taken. Electrically, the horn is intermittent and I have not fitted a radio because I could not decide on what I wanted... I just used to listen to the hum of the engine anyway. The paint and chrome are all in great shape showing minimal wear in only a few places.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
