Ebay item 3/6/08 cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-4-2-coupe-1970-Jaguar-4-2-coupe-with-NEW-F ...
Opening bid $9,000, no reserve, no bids yet, 9 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
This is a very clean, great running, classic Jaguar 4.2 Coupe with a Ford 302 V8 engine and C-4 automatic trans.
This car was restored, and a very nice V8 conversion was done back in the 1970's. All paint and chrome are in good condition but show their age. The paint has a great shine. There is a "star" cracked in the paint, on the roof, which I have depicted in one of the pictures.
The interior is in good condition and the headliner looks brand new. As is with any older restoration there are areas that could use some attention. Overall the car is in good, usable, presentable condition and will turn heads just like it is.
A BRAND NEW Ford 302 long block was just put into the car and has ZERO MILES on it. It also has a brand new Edelbrock carburetor, polished intake and chrome valve covers.
The automatic, Ford C-4 transmission works great.
The rear end is the original Jag independant with inboard disc brakes and coil over shocks.
