A United States delivery car, it was imported into the United Kingdom from Canada in November 2015. Currently for sale at Promus Vehicles of Southport. Described as a lovely series 2 E Type convertible finished in a stunning colour combination of Willow Green with a Suede Green leather interior.

The car has had light renovations over the years. The exterior paint could do with sharpening up. The interior is original and still in really nice shape. New hood. The engine and gearbox work as they should and the car runs well, a lovely drive. The odometer reads 417 miles but it is pretty certain it has been around the clock! A stunning vehicle. £59,950.

Auction description:

Ascot Racecourse April 17th 2021

1968 Jaguar E-Type Series II Roadster

Lot Number 252 Registration UBD 372G Chassis Number 1R7132 Engine Number 7R1317-9 Odometer reading 2,073 miles

Estimate £48,000 - £58,000 Sold - £64,524

This well-presented Series II Roadster was delivered new to the USA in 1968. Presented in the rare colour combination of willow green over a green leather interior the E-Type benefits from having a rebuilt rear subframe with a high ratio differential fitted, perfect for economical and more comfortable driving, a conversion to electronic ignition was also completed at this time. Reported to be in fine driving order this well maintained example would make a great touring car for its new owner. Offered with a history file detailing previous maintenance work including many invoices and receipts throughout the 1990s, the Heritage Certificate and the current UK registration document.
