Ebay item 11/15/10
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-S-II-OTS-Original-unrestored-show-winner-5 ...
Opening bid $35,000 reserve not met, no bids yet 6 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
Uniquely original 1969 Jaguar E-Type OTS Series II E-Type roadster I've owned for over 15 years. It is in original, unrestored condition yet beautiful from all angles and 100% roadworthy and dependable.
This is a complete car and includes a range of correct, period-authentic accessories and upgrades including:
* Tripower SU carburetors and manifold (Original twin Stromberg fitment included)
* Top cover
* Passenger side rearview mirror
* Luggage rack
* Armco front bumper guard (included, not fitted)
The car has 58K miles, including the 5000 I've put on since 1995.
It was a recent show winner at San Diego's October 2010 British Car Day.
This car has zero rust and has never had any. Stay well away from any rusty E-Type.
The SU Tri-power upgrade from an earlier 3.8L car truly wakes up the power in this 4.2L application while preserving Jaguar authenticity. A late model Delco alternator has been fitted.
If you've ever sought a truly great, driveable, unmolested Jaguar E-Type free of stories and excuses, this is your car.
I believe this car has been repainted once long before my ownership and the paint shines as new and, as an old lacquer paint job will do, shows some cracking. Similarly, the original Everflex top has a slight tear just above the drivers side window, yet is otherwise free of defects. The plastic rear window is clear and pliable. The interior is excellent condition with only the slightest of patina. There are tiny nicks here and there as you might expect of a 42 year car.
I'm in the midst of downsizing what was once a collection of British Cars and this is the last to go. To restore a car to this level of appearance and driveability is a $100K+ undertaking and you are left with a car that is remanufactured and with a history that has been lost and destroyed. In my view, investing in unrestored originals is the only way to go.

Sellers description:
British Racing Green -- Biscuit Interior & Top
Recent Complete Restoration -- 59k Original Miles
Forman Motorworks is pleased to offer for sale this striking 1969 Jaguar E-Type Roadster. This vintage Jaguar was treated to a comprehensive $50k restoration in 2012. All European Classic & Modern in Las Vegas, Nevada performed the work and we have the detailed list of what was done. This British icon starts, runs, and drives great. We have the Operating, Maintenance and Service Handbook, as well as a large chart for fluids, service, and lubrication. Also available is a detailed list of items addressed during the restoration process. The paintwork, chrome, glass, and trim all show exceptionally well. The panel and door gaps are as good as or better than when it left the factory in 1969.
The 4-speed gearbox shifts precisely and the clutch operates smoothly. It stops aggressively using 4-wheel disc brakes and the Independent front & rear suspension translates to exceptional handling. This example originally wore a Burgundy exterior with a black interior and top. During the restoration the decision was made to change it to the ideal British Racing Green exterior, complimented by a Biscuit interior & top.
Although the restoration was completed in 2012, it has only traveled a few hundred miles since in order to sort out and dial in the mechanicals. There is no notable wear on the top, seats, panels, or carpet. You'll feel confident taking this car out to a British car event, a Jaguar club meet up, a vintage rally, or even a Sunday drive. If you've been searching for a true British motoring icon with just the right look and drivability factor, along with outstanding fit & finish throughout, please consider this E-Type Roadster. Values of quality E-Type's are on the rise, take advantage and watch the prices go higher as you own it!

The panel and door gaps are as good as or better than when it left the factory in 1969. Jaguar only imported 8,630 Series II E-Type Convertibles to the U.S. between 1968 and1970.
A 4.2 Liter Inline 6-Cylinder with over 265hp motivates this piece of rolling art down the road with aplomb. The original dual carburetor setup has been upgraded to triple SU carburetors, giving it extra power and more response. The 4-speed gearbox shifts precisely and the clutch operates smoothly. It stops aggressively using 4-wheel disc brakes and the Independent front & rear suspension translates to exceptional handling. This example originally wore a Burgundy exterior with a black interior and top.
