eBay #1875387658. Ad reads:

A great candidate for restoration. This e-type is a running vehicle, in good condition and complete, which has been in storage for many years. This vehicle has a CA title, AM/FM push-button radio, and matching numbers on engine and frame rail. The odometer shows 315 miles, we would assume the actual mileage is 100,351, however there is no way for us to know. The body has a good fit, there is a little surface rust in a few areas such as the battery and trunk, there are no holes. There is a dime-sized ding or smaller in the front bonnet and minor damage in the rear where the body meets the bumper. There is a very small rock chip on the windshield, and is usable as is. The paint is O.K. and chrome, top, and dash are serviceable. The seats and center arm rest need to be reupholstered if you want to make the car real nice.

Plus their desciption from THEIR web site states "has low miles and covered headlights." but
a. it is a series II car as stated plainly in their ad text and
b. it is really simple from the pictures to see it DOES NOT HAVE COVERED HEADLIGHTS! :-)

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
