This 1969 Jaguar XKE Series II roadster was acquired new by the current owner from Burbank Imports of California. It is finished in Pale Primrose over black leather and is powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six linked with a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes a black soft top, a louvered clamshell hood, four-wheel disc brakes, 15″ wire wheels, a wood-rimmed Moto-Lita steering wheel, a cassette radio, and a heater. Work since 2023 has involved refurbishing the radiator, servicing the brakes, and replacing the water pump, ignition components, tires, spark plugs, battery, and alternator. This XKE roadster is now offered by the seller on behalf of the current owner with the owner’s manual, service records, and a clean California title.
The car is finished in Pale Primrose, and exterior equipment includes a replacement black soft top, sealed-beam open headlights, a driver-side mirror, wraparound chrome bumpers, bright trim, a louvered clamshell hood, and dual exhaust outlets. LED bulbs were installed in 2025. The left taillight is cracked and there are holes in the soft top.
The 15″ wire wheels are secured by rounded knock-offs and were mounted with 205/70 Vredestein tires in May 2023. Braking is provided by four-wheel discs with inboard-mounted rear rotors. The brake booster, master cylinder, brake light switch, and brake hoses were replaced in 2023.
The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in black leather along with a color-coordinated center console, door panels, and carpets. Interior appointments include an aftermarket cassette radio, a locking glovebox, and a heater. There is a tear in the passenger seat.
The wood-rimmed Moto-Lita steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5k-rpm redline as well as an analog clock and gauges for voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer has rolled over once and shows 19k miles.
The 4.2-liter inline-six was factory equipped with dual Zenith-Stromberg carburetors and rated at 246 horsepower and 263 lb-ft of torque when new. Work in 2023 included re-coring the radiator, refreshing the carburetors, installing an auxiliary fan switch, and replacing the water pump, distributor, ignition wires, heater hoses, spark plugs, battery, battery tray and cables, and air filter. The carburetors were repaired in 2025 and an alternator was installed.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. An area of the underside has been cut out
