This 1969 Jaguar E-Type Series 2 Roadster is an iconic sports car, which benefits from a restoration carried out in 2016.
It is powered by a naturally aspirated 4.2-litre inline-six, which sends around 265bhp to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission.
Originally a US-market, left-hand drive example, this E-Type was imported into the UK and first registered with the DVLA in May 2013, the car is noted to have undergone a detailed restoration in 2016 which was photographically documented as can be seen in the image gallery, during the restoration the car was converted from left to right-hand drive.
The odometer shows 43,013 miles, however this is not warranted.
This car is finished in Silver Grey, over a Black leather-trimmed interior, which is the specification in which it left the factory as confirmed by its accompanying certificate.
It rides on a set of 15-inch polished wire wheels secured with knock-off hub nuts, and fitted with a set of Vredestein Sprint Classic tyres date stamped in 2016.
Equipment includes a wood-rimmed three-spoke sports steering wheel, heating and ventilation controls, Smiths instrument and auxiliary gauges, an analogue clock, a Modern retro-look radio, and a locking glove compartment.
The Jaguar is accompanied by its history file which contains invoices, images of its prior restoration, MOT test certificates, its Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate, as well as a tool kit including a jack, a knock-off removal tool and hammer, and a spare steering wheel.
The seller notes that there is one original ignition key included in the sale.
