Particulary beautiful car in excellent condition. No rust issues nor evidence of rust repair. Many brand new items: top (virtually never down), interior leather and carpets, exhaust, rubber seals, shocks, springs, new beautiful triple plate chrome, clutch, flywheel, ball joints. Rebuilt items: Brake calipers (new pads also), head rebuilt by prominant, respected shop in RI, triple SU's rebuilt, steering well refinished. There is MUCH more. Recent silver paint job (prior to reassembly) is of excellent quality, this is a respray, car may have been burgandy, this shows on one door hinge nut, rubber bushings appear very recent or new. Glass is excellent. The tires are ok and serviceable, slight crack on radio concel surround, wiper blades shot. Overall this car has received a significant degree of restoration and an enourmous financial investment. I estimate 35K to 45K. I purchased this car for my personal use from a collector clearing out a large amount of inventory, mostly dissasemnmled cars. I can not afford to keep it and have purchased another E type which is unrestored at price point that fits my ever decreasing income. I drove this car only a few miles, it needs a tune but drives fine. Finally, car engine is non matching, it does have a CA. title (along with envelope from state). The photos are detailed and evidence the degree of restoration and expense that new owner will enjoy without the huge investment. This is probably the best value E Type on E Bay. Low Reserve.
