RM Auction, Monterey, CA 8/17/2001 lot #64. Sports Car Market report:
Trunk rack, AM/FM cassette, some chrome dings, weak leather. Good panel fit, but still best described as just a Jag.

Lot #204597
This 1969 Jaguar XKE Series II roadster was acquired by the current owner in 2002, and it is powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six linked to a four-speed manual transmission. Finished in silver over black leather, the car is equipped with a black soft top, a soft top boot, 15″ wire-spoke steel wheels, power-assisted disc brakes, a luggage rack, triple windshield wipers, a cassette radio, and a heater. This XKE Series II roadster is now offered on dealer consignment as part of the Mohr Imports Car Week Collection: Postcards from Monterey with a tool kit and a California title.
The car is finished in silver and is equipped with a black soft top, a soft top boot, sealed-beam open headlights, a louvered clamshell hood, wraparound chrome bumpers, bright trim, dual side mirrors, triple windshield wipers, and dual exhaust outlets.
The 15″ wire wheels are secured by rounded knock-offs and are mounted with 195/60 Starfire Solarus all-season tires. Braking is provided by four-wheel discs with inboard-mounted rear rotors.
The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in black leather along with color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Interior appointments include wood dash trim, a sliding rearview mirror, an Alpine AM/FM/cassette radio, Alpine speakers, and a heater.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a Smiths 160-mph speedometer and 6k-rpm tachometer, while auxiliary gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and amperage are located in the center of the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 42k miles.
The 4.2-liter inline-six features dual Zenith-Stromberg carburetors and was factory rated at 246 horsepower and 263 lb-ft of torque.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a full-synchromesh four-speed manual transmission.
