Ebay item 5/2/15
www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-E-Type-/161691946717
Car has a buy it now price of $75,000 for 6 days.
Sellers description:
Considerable restoration on this excellent and very reliable classic Etype. Body is rust free with recent photo documented repairs. Interior, leather seats, panels, roof and tonneau cover were re-upholstered and are in excellent condition. Regency Red paint is great, save for a few stone chips in the lower grill area. Color combination of Regency Red and tan interior is rare. Michelin tires have less than 2000 miles on them.Original chrome wheels in very good condition. Minor scuff marks on flooring and instrument panel. All matching numbers. Current owner has had car for 27 years - always stored indoors. Car runs beautifully, with plenty of power. Very straight and solid frame, never any damage or accidents to owners' knowledge - a great classic to enjoy as a daily driver or for touring, or to take to concours level for the real Jaguar afficianado. Odometer currently reads 16,350 miles, purchased in 1988 with odometer reading at 2,916 miles - assume correct mileage is likely 116,350 miles. Clock not working. 2015 appraisal by accredited appraiser for insurance purposes at $80,000 US.

Car returns to ebay 1/25/16
www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-E-Type-/161957552079
Car has a buy it now price of $60,000 for 9 days. Seller marioevam-7, 116k miles. Same seller. Previous listing received no offers.
Sellers description:
This particularly attractive Etype is a true head turner. The classic style, gleaming paint and sparkling wire wheels show why these cars are considered a Collectors' dream. A solid and true driving car, with straight chassis and very tight fittings and great alignment. The car has not been fully restored, mainly because it has not required it! I had rust removed around the wheel wells in 2010, with proper rebuilding and repaint (photos available). I have owned the vehicle for 28 years, and have also reupholstered the interior, carpets, roof and tonneau cover. The car has always been mechanically pampered by classic Jag specialists. My current mechanic would buy it himself if he did not already own three others! These 6 cylinder Etypes are known for their reliability and performance. Matching numbers and all stock fittings with exception of the muffler/exhaust system. Tires have approximately 5000 miles of use.
Purchased from a Jag dealership in 1988, I was told I would be the third owner and the car had originated in California. Appraisal available.

A United States delivery car, it was imported into the United Kingdom from Canada and sold by Toby Smith Cars of Brackley in July 2016. Described as an immaculate 1969 roadster in outstanding condition. Ziebarted from new. Matching numbers with history and invoices. Previously listed on ebayUK, the URL was

One Canadian family for over 40 years, the car was bought by the vendor's father, then given to her 28 years ago. Loved and cherished, it has been spared no expense over its lifetime, including a bare metal re-spray that looks like it was done yesterday, with any superficial metalwork taken care of, and the restoration work documented including a CD of the work done.
The car has received a comprehensive overhaul including a cylinder head rebuild, and the bushes and suspension have been overhauled. Never driven in the wet, and having been Ziebarted from new, the car is completely free of rust. The result is an E Type that sounds, drives and stops better than the day it left the factory.
