- Fully restored
- One of 1871 RHD Series 3 roadsters
- Rare Manual transmission
Purchased by the vendor in 2002, this rare manual Series 3 V12 was purchased in what the vendor describes as good, original condition, and already re-painted. The vendor then commissioned a professional restoration which included the rebuilding of all mechanicals except the engine which was already in good condition.
When acquired the odometer read 18,000 miles and in the current ownership the E-Type has only been out for a couple of club runs, mostly being used as an attractive display vehicle.
Today there has been a high-torque starter fitted, but otherwise the car remains to original specification. This stunning and desirable manual V12 E-Type roadster is a pleasure to drive.
The only reason this car is being sold is due to the elderly owner having to undergo knee surgery.
To be sold with a very realistic reserve and it is in full NSW registration until 27th February, 2012.
