    Auction description:
    The Spirit of Motoring
An Important Auction of British and Continental Sports & Touring Cars, Toys, Models and Automobilia
    Thursday 30th September 2004

    Lot 444
    1973 Jaguar E-Type SIII Roadster
    Registration no: RGY 365L
    Chassis no: 151788
    Estimate: £20,000-25,000

This genuine right hand drive model is presented with a matching numbered engine and chassis, manual transmission and, as backed up by the MoT's, a believed correct mileage of just 52,000. The car us been the subject of some work in recent years, more noticeably new discs front and rear and a stainless steel exhaust. Storage for the last 6 years takes the form of a dehumidified garage and so dependable has RGY 365L been that she has transported its owner down to the Le Mans 24 hour race and back 6 times without missing a beat.
