    Auction description:

ORIGINAL UK CAR & ONLY 51,000 MILES
    Lot 55
    Estimate £25000 - 28000
    Mileage 51676
    Colour RED
    Trim Colour BISCUIT
    Chassis No IS2000
    Engine No 7S12639-SA
    Registration No NOW400M
    CC 5343
    M.O.T JUNE 2005

Offered here is a 1973-built, right-hand-drive S3 roadster, the chassis of which is said by the entrant to be good, with red painted body panels as seen, chrome steel wheels good and interior in biscuit leather excellent. The 5343cc twelve-cylinder engine is reportedly in good order as are four-speed manual transmission and electrical equipment.
Believed to have belonged to Bonnie Tyler's husband, this open V12 E-Type with attractive NOW 700M registration has lots of history on file, says the vendor, and a believed to be genuine 51,676 total mileage displayed on the odometer when entered. The current MOT pass certificate is valid until June. The E-Type has always been one of the most desirable of all the British classics to own, an open S3 arguably the ultimate version.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
