Current bid $10,100 reserve not met, 14 bids 6 days left in auction. 80K miles.

Sellers description:
This car has been in storage for 5 years. The owner bought it to keep for himself and lost interest. He worked on the car for the old owner and took interest when the owner wanted to sell it. There was some body work done on the left 1/4 so he redid it for himself. The car has no rust and no damage and the body is very staight and ready for final blocking and paint. It is British Racing Green and all new paint in the jams. All the chrome is in great condition with 1 part missing. The lower part of trim in the front opening. It is available from many suppliers.

I drained all the fuel and cleaned out the tank & lines. All 4 floats, needle and seats where replaced. It started right up with 50 lbs oil pressor with no smoke or noise. I then took it for a drive around the block 2 miles. The trans shifts nice with no noise in the drive train. Brakes work great and are free wheeling and don't pull or stick. The old owner has a new top skin which will come with the car. Some fuel, water hoses will be needed to drive after it's painted.

Many new seals come with the car and almost all the parts are in plactic bags for easy assembly. If you want a E type with a V12 with no RUST this is the car for you.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
