I was the second owner of the car. Purchased it from a lady in El Paso, Texas in 1975. Later traded it in on a XJ12. If you desire to know anything about the car please email me. Regards, Dick Wells

cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-1972-Jaguar-XKE-E-Type-Roadster-Fully-Rest ...
Current bid $45,200 reserve not met, 27 bids 5 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
1972 Jaguar XKE E-type Roadster - V12 - Old English White with Biscuit Connelly leather interior and a Black top - 4 Speed - A/C - Wire Wheels - Matching Numbers!! Fully restored from the ground up!! Matching Numbers; this is very rare and collectable. It has been fully restored from the ground up and had over $100,000 spent, here is your chance to buy it at a fraction of the price (please review photos below of complete underside below). This color combination is striking and elegant! Obviously from this E type's appearance and condition, attention to detail was given to the restoration. This is a low mileage E-type that has ample elegance to boot. The Jaguar is beautifully detailed inside and out. The undercarriage and engine compartment are as gorgeous as the rest of this Jaguar. This turnkey E-Type is ready for a new home. Mileage indicated is only 26,068 and this has been represented as original by both previous owners. The radio is an original British Leyland AM/FM push button that plays as it should.
The Old English Whitepaint looks like glass and is outstanding in every way, all the chrome is amazing too!! This is a great opportunity to get an incredible piece that is very rare sought after.
The leather interior is brand new, so is all the carpet and the Canvas convertible top. The leather feels very soft. The gauge cluster looks nice and clean and the dash is in great condition too. The original jack comes with the car and so does a spare, the trunk has been fully restored too, with all new wood.
Mechanically, this '72 V12 runs and drives great. It has a smooth running V12 and also has new, shocks, new suspension, new bushings, new down pipes, complete new exhaust system from the manifolds all the way back, new rear end, new brake rotors, new brakes, the cooling system has been completely revamped, new reservoir tank, a fresh tune up with new, cap, rotors, wires, plugs, air filters, fuel filters, it also has a new gas tank, new fuel pump, 4 new tires, all 4 carburetors have been rebuilt and complete new fuel lines. This jag has had the transmission serviced, differential serviced and a recent oil change. As my pictures show under the hood of this car looks great. It features a fully detailed motor compartment and looks completely factory original. The manual transmission shifts nice and smooth. The car drives straight it feels tight going down the road and if you give it some gas it really takes off.
This '72 Roadster is a very rare find! Especially, being in such beautiful condition and an amazing color combination. This car has the best of everything and is ready to drive or show and enjoy right now.
The car is located in beautiful Beverly Hills, CA.
