1973 Jaguar Series III, V-12, Open two seater, Left hand drive. Borg Warner automatic, Metallic Jade Green with Biscuit interior, Manufactured in Coventry, England. There were 2256 E-Type Series III, LHD, A.T. Roadsters built in 1973. The V-12, 5.3 Litre engine (326 cubic inches) has 12 cylinders and 4 Stromberg 175 CD2E carburetors. Original specs featured 272 horsepower, now approximately 300 HP with tuning and air/fuel enhancements. 45,642 miles, 6 owners. All serial numbers match original components that left Coventry as certified by Jaguar-Daimler Trust. Weight 3432 lbs. Petrol tank capacity: 20.25 gallons. Top Speed estimated at 135mph at 6500 RPM.
This car features Automatic Transmission, Power Steering and Power Disc Brake, Air Conditioning, Sony stereo/CD with a 4 speaker and pwr antenna. THe original Britich Leyland Radio, and other original parts removed during restoration. This car is totally rust free and has been garaged during its lifetime. It is in outstanding condition and is a JCNA E-Type Series III Driven Class winner (Score of 9.94 out of 10 points) - SFJC Concours - November 2001. THis professional restoration has been photo documented and includes $30,000+ in details costs (engine, fuel system, automatic transmission, inside/outside lights, interior, top, paint, chrome, seatbelts, electric's, suspension, brakes, etc.) Many additional extras include teak boot floorboards, soft cotton cover, boot cover, custom tonneau cover, anco over ride bars on nose and restored original tool kit.
