Opening bid $32,000.00 (Reserve not met), no bids yet, 9 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
This 43000 mile, 1974 Jaguar XKE Roadster is the last year of production for the beautiful XKE. This automobile has been owned by the same owner for the last 8 years, and is a rust free Arizona car. It is equipped with factory wire wheels, factory air conditioning, automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, and a cloth top. The tires are new, as well as the cloth top. The care is Olde English white with a red leather interior and black cloth top. It had one professional repaint since new, and the finish is beautiful! The body is totally straight and rust free with no damage as far as I can tell. The engine is factory numbers matching, 5.3 litre V-12 with 272 HP at 5850 rpm. If you would enjoy driving one of the most beautiful automobiles ever made, in pristine condition, this is the car for you.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
