Sold by Chelsea Cars of London in July 2023. Seller's description below.
www.chelseacars.com/listings/1972-jaguar-e-type-series-3-v12-coupe-for-sale/

1972 RHD E Type Series 3 V12 Coupe with manual transmission, wire wheels and four branch exhaust. Presented in Opalescent Gunmetal Grey coachwork with Black leather interior. Previously owned by Major Ben Faulkner, the founder of the Fernhurst Motor Company, the car retains its private number plate 18BWF. Apparently, he looked for a very low mileage original car and chose this lovely example. It is showing just 35,600 miles which is warranted by the previous owner who spent over £40,000 on the car recently including a full repaint at a cost of £9,500, new exhaust, fuel tanks, etc. There are invoices to show the work carried out. The car comes with a huge service file, original manuals and Heritage Certificate.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
