We are always pleased to offer any model of the Jaguar range of cars and 'E' types come somewhere near the top of these. The car we have here is a 1972 'E' type 2+2 with the 5343cc V12 engine and the more desirable manual four speed gearbox.
We are led to believe that the car has only had four private owners from new, the last one since 1986, and the mileage from new to date is only 44000 miles which we are informed by the vendor is certified as correct from new. We are further informed that it has a lovely straight body which is painted in White and it also has a very good interior trim which is finished in Black leather and the chromework is excellent as well.
This is a wonderful example of this much loved British supercar and it comes with a current M.O.T. certificate until the end of August this year, a current V5 registration document and some bills, receipts and other paperwork including an invoice for work carried out on the vehicle 3000 miles ago for ú11000.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
