Advertised for sale on Carsales.com.au on 24 April 2016, asking AUS$58,500 with 60,835 kilometres.
Seller's description follows: "Despatched to Australia in March 1972, this ................... is a rare matching numbers, Leyland Australia delivered E-Type. This particular vehicle was owned by the same owner since the late 1970's and until earlier this year was on full registration and driven sparingly. Fitted with a steel sliding sunroof, new starter motor, battery and Crane Fireball 3000 electronic ignition. The interior is in good condition, having new carpets. The leather seats are in great condition, save for the driver's which is only fair and the roof lining is average. The car starts and drives, but does have some panel rust. The paint work is in poor condition, and it does have the obligatory Jaguar oil leaks. Jaguar Heritage Certificate is included. This E is being sold as is, without a RWC or registration".
