Sellers description:
1971 Jaguar xke V12 2+2 bought and garaged about 25 years ago. It has done a lot of sitting but it is what one would call "barn fresh." The last major work done to it was the automatic transmision was rebuilt or fixed as it was slipping. The car is currently taken apart as the trim and certain hinges and door handles as it was in the middle of a respray. Drive train is fully installed. Everything is known to be either in the car or inside of boxes stored in shelves. Car does run but the carbs need a cleaning/rebuilding to preventing flooding. I personally haven't started it but it was known to start about 5 years ago. Interior needs finishing to be concours but is still intact.

CHROME AND GLASS.....THE CHROME IS ALSO IN FAIR SHAPE. CHROME IS RUST FREE. ALL GLASS IS GOOD WITH NO CRACKS.

TIRES AND WHEELS.... TIRES ARE IN GOOD SHAPE. WOULD HAVE A FEW MORE YEARS OF USE. WHEELS ARE ALSO IN NICE SHAPE

MECHANICALLY......THE CAR IS A MATCHING NUMBER. IT IS AN AUTOMATIC. THE ENGINE DOES TURN OVER BUT WONT START. GAS IS GETTING TO THE CARBS. HAS ONLY 38700 MILES ON IT. BRAKES SEEM TO BE IN GOOD SHAPE. SHIFTS FINE INTO THE GEARS.

INTERIOR.....THE SEATS ARE SHOWING THERE AGE. CARPET WOULD NEED REPLACED. DASH IS IN GOOD SHAPE.

UNDERCARRIAGE.....THE FLOORS, FRAME AND TRUNK AREA ARE ALL VERY SOLID. THIS IS A VERY RUST FREE CAR.

THIS IS A LOW MILEAGE JAGUAR THAT NEEDS SOME WORK DONE. IT IS NOT A MAJOR RESTORATION PROJECT.
