Current bid $5,630.00 (Reserve not met), 10 bids, 8 days left in auction.

    Sellers description:
    1971 Jaguar XKE Coupe
V-12, A/C, Auto, Primrose Yellow/Black Leather Interior NO RUST ARIZONA CAR NONE! This car was stolen and recovered, the bonnet was off of the car and the engine and transmission were removed. When we got the car the engine and transmission were complete and sitting on a pallet. We installed the engine into the car for shipping purposes, we did not attempt to get it running. It does turn over by hand. Body is excellent and rust free, the bonnet (hood) has some dings and dents from being moved around when it was off the car. We only see a few missing items on the car, tachometer, shift selector housing and shift knob, deck emblems, tool kit, air cleaner driver side, throttle cable, exhaust. Original Spare wheel and jack are in the trunk. There may be other parts missing, if so they are minor. This looks like it was a real nice car before it was stolen. Very easy project. Arizona Salvage Title, World Wide Shipping Available.

49,700 miles, on ebay 07/09, seller writes: 1971 Jaguar E-Type V12 Series III Coupe

    *NO RESERVE*

    Primrose Yellow

    Automatic

Arizona car NO RUST (Arizona title)

    This is a recovered theft.

It shows no signs of any collision work.

I have found no repair of rust. Undercarriage, wheel wells, floors, etc. all are original.

Seats, dash, door panels, rear panels all exceptional.

    All chrome is excellent.

The car is extremely clean. Look closely at the photos.

This is what I feel will make this lady exceptional:

    * Missing original air cleaner cans right and left sides (I have the snorkels)
    * Brakes hanging up but the car will move. (possibly caused by a non-returning master cylinder)
    * Cooling fans need to be connected.
    * Light interior work necessary. (Replace original headliner drooping , re-cover sun visors, re-stitch seam in driver's seat, all leather is excellent original, install missing carpet)
    * There is a small scuff on the left rear wheel well, a paint chip on the right door edge and dent in the right rocker panel under the car.

    A NOTE TO ALL BIDDERS

BIDDING IS A CONTRACT TO PURCHASE NOT AN OPTION TO COME AND TIRE KICK.

If you have any question or concerns ask before you bid not after. No excuses will be accepted.

I am selling this vehicle because I have to, not because I want to. The body shell alone is worth every penney of the minimum bid.

I have been here on Ebay for over 8 years. I have great feedback from both buyers and sellers. I have described the cat the best I can. I have noted anything that I have found that would make this a very sweet Jag.

I purchased this XKE back in 2005 from the seller on Ebay in Texas. I was pleasantly suprised to see to see it had been restored to exceptional standards. I personnally owned a restoration shop through the 1980's so my opinion has substance. The seller's pictures which are currently shown from 2005 are correct though the poster did not have copy right to them.
