Ebay item 11/29/09
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-XKE-1971-JAGUAR-XKE-V12-2-2-NEEDS-RESTORED ...
Current bid $2,590 reserve not met, 15 bids 8 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
1971 JAGUAR XKE V12 2 PLUS 2. ONLY 41000 ORIGINAL MILES THE AR HAS BEE IN STORAGE FOR A UMBER OF YEARS. THE CAR NEEDS TO BE RESTORED BUT IS PRETTY SOLID. THE BODY HAS SOME RUST IN THE REAR DRIVER SIDE FENDER. OTHERWISE, THE BODY ON THE CAR IS VERY SOLID. THE FLOORS ARE VERY SOLID. THE TRUNK FLOOR DOES HAVE ONE RUST SPOT IN THE RIGHT FRONT CORNER. THE PASSENGER DOOR IS DENTED BUT I THINK WOULD POP OUT WITH A LITTLE EFFORT. THE REST OF THE CAR IS VERY STRAIGHT,

THE INTERIOR OF THE CAR IS SHOWING ITS AGE. THE SEAT HAVE NO TEARS OR RIPS. IT WOULD NEED CARPET. DASH IS IN VERY NICE SHAPE. BACK WINDOW IS BROKEN. REST OF THE GLASS IS IN GOOD SHAPE. CHROME IS IN FAIR TO GOOD SHAPE.

MECHANICALLY THE CAR IS NOT RUNNING. THE ENGINE IS ORIGINAL AND IS FREE. FOUR SPEED CAR. CLUTCH AND BRAKES SEEM FINE. THE CAR IS MISSING THE KEYS. THE CAR WOULD NEED A EW EXHAUST.

THIS WOULD BE A GREAT CAR TO RESTORE. The car is a matching number car

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
