Opening bid $12,000, no reserve, no bids yet, 8 days left in auction. 30k miles.

Sellers description:
This Black Beauty has all the original leather interior in great shape. This automatic tranny is connected with a V12 326 cubic inch matching engine that is rated 60 mph in 6.8 seconds!! This Jag has NEVER been hit or rusted out and NO BODY WORK WAS EVER NEEDED AND IS STRIGHT DOWN THE SIDES. iT HAS THE FACTORY AIR, LEAKS NO FLUIDS, Has all parts in boxes, just waited for bonnet hinge ( I got yesterday) to finish because hinges are installed beneath headlight assembly, This car was in Carl Casper car shows often and won 3rd best in class.

This classic has only 30,028 correct original miles! It runs great and shifts great. Brakes work great. I bought the car for $7,900 and spent the following to make it all show class. NEW Paint base and clear coat $4000.00

New Factory Jag Exhaust $250 Rebuilt Radiator $300. 2 new Electric radiator fans, shrouds, and thermo controls $200. has spare tire and chrome wire wheel.

BRAND NEW Dayton CHROME WIRE WHEELS $2400. New Radial tubeless Goodyear Integrity Tires $450. One new Hood hinge. 4 rebuilt carbs $650, new brake lines $150, gas tank boiled and lined $125, new fuel pump $100, 4 new spinners still in box (not shown). New Battery $60. Stainless exhaust tip $200, new plugs $40.00 so you see I have spent $17,000 and my loss is your gain. History James Kirchner 2nd owner bought jag in 1975 nearly new. stripped car to bare metal, primed and stored it until a sudden death then I bought it ( my 7th Jag, and it has the best body of all of them). from his estate sent it stright to paint shop, started reassembly and it would take just a few hours to complete but am too busy with my new sumbeam tiger project car that consumes all my free time. Jag needs one turn light assembly and a 3' piece of chrome I lost.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
