Ebay item 8/17/16
www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-E-Type-2-2-/131910986695
Car has a buy it now price of $21,500 for 4 days, seller kerntek911, 46k miles.

Sellers description:
This E Type Series 3 was bought new in Nashville at Scott Welch Motors by Dr Maxwell in 1971. In 1981 he pulled it in his garage with 46K miles on the clock, and was pulled out last month from a 35 year slumber! This Jaguar is a true time capsule. It is shown as found, dust and all. It's a 100% original, numbers matching vehicle. She rolls free. Dr Maxwell was a professor at Meharry Medical College. He daily 6 mile commute is documented by the parking permit decals on the windshield from the late 70's, as well as over a dozen of dealer service invoices.

Also, I have all paperwork, window sticker, original dealer invoice, service manual, Jaguar passport service booklet with dealer stamps and owners card, original 1971 TN title, service records documenting the mileage is actual. All the paperwork is amazing. It's a V12, automatic, with air, original radio. Blue/Blue. The Michelin redlines on the front might be original. I even have the receipt for the Pirelli's that we fitted when the car had 32,114 miles. The body is virtually rust free. The Lucas headlamps are believed to be original as well. I have not tried to start her because the key was lost. I'm working with Jaguar Heritage Dept on acquiring the key code, and getting a duplicate key. Assume for now your buying the car without a key.

I am a car guy but no Jaguar aficionado. I wanted to price this car fair for the new owner because I'd love to see her get the preservation restoration she deserves. I good bath and detailing would do wonders for the original Blue paint and leather interior, but I'm not the one to do it. I want the new owner to experience and document the thrill of doing it their self. This is a unique opportunity to purchase a complete E-type with provenance.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
