Auction description:
Vente Automobiles sur les Champs - 22 octobre 2023 /Lot 68 1971 Jaguar Type E V12 Coupé No reserve
Collection from the South-West of France
French title
Châssis n° 1871495
- Same owner for over 30 years
- Cheapest V12 with manual gearbox!
- "Garage find" collection, to be restarted.
Sold new in France and equipped with a manual gearbox, this Jaguar E-Type V12 Coupe was purchased in 1988 by its current owner. An inspection report dated from 1988 described the car as being in excellent condition in every way, from the beige leather upholstery to its wine-coloured paint. In 1989, the expert Herve Charbonneaux produced a report which confirmed the statements highlighted in the first report. We discovered this E-Type in the garage of the current owner alongside other cars in the collection. This is a genuine garage find that has not been used for several years but which remains very well preserved in terms of bodywork and interior. Its future owner will have to bring it back into working order and get it fully cleaned so it can regain its former glory. Offered with no reserve price, it should delight all enthusiasts of beautiful machines.
Please note that the vehicle is sold without a technical inspection less than 6 months old.
Estimation 15 000 - 25 000 €
Vendu 35 760 €
