We are excited to offer this absolutely stunning Jaguar Series III Coupe. This car was previously restored in the stunning color combination of Silver with red interior. This is desirable early model V12 (non-rubber bumper car). Also, rare is the 4-speed transmission. A great driver to be enjoyed
The car is an early Series III car (non- rubber bumper car). One of the more desirable.
It is a matching numbers car.
It has a strong engine with an average of 125 psi compression on the cylinders .
Oil pressure at idle Cold: 60 pounds Hot: 40 pounds as it should be
Has 69,957 which we believe to be original miles.
Floors and underside are solid and clean
The paint we would say is about an 8 out of 10. It has a few paint imperfections, but overall presents very well.
The interior seat covers and carpet are new.
The chrome is in very good condition. The chrome wire wheels are not brand new, but still in great shape.
The AC does work and blows cold.
The tires are newer.
The engine compartment is clean.
The car is very responsive and acceleration is good.
It was originally Ascot Fawn with red Interior
The headliner has some discoloration on the back near the rear door and on the top of driverside
The dash pad has a small are of separation near one of the defroster vents.
Overall: This is a nicer driver Jaguar Series III V12 Coupe. It could be taken to local shows and probably would do well in the people's choice award, as people just love the way this car presents itself. It is not a concours car or trailer queen, but a really nice car overall. These cars (V12 Coupes) are often hard to find done nice and with a 4-speed as a lot of them were automatics. A great car to enjoy!
