Ebay item 8/28/19
www.ebay.com/itm/1972-Jaguar-E-Type/273982750137
Opening bid US $10,000 no reserve 0 bids 6 days left in auction, car said to be in Clarence Center, New York, previously Pacific Palisades, CA, 36k miles, seller rizzbriff83.
Note, seller lists VIN as 1S53328, not a valid VIN, listed here as a best guess.
Seller's description:
1972 Jaguar XKE V12 2+2 project, the car has been sitting since the early 80’s the motor was supposedly overheated and pulled out pulled apart and never put back together. All of the parts and the original block are there, the 4 speed transmission is still in the car. The interior is pretty complete but the clock was removed and never put back in. The headliner will need to be replaced. The body has some rust and some dents and dings. Some chrome will need to be rechromed. The odometer reads around 36,000 I’m not sure what the original mileage is. It is missing the spare tire, tools and left side rear view mirror. This car has been sitting a long time and will need everything gone over but it is an original V12 car and well worth restoring. The car will come with a bill of sale only.
