63,460 miles, on ebay 07/09, seller writes: 1973 JAGUAR XKE 2+2
Rare Factory Options: 4 Speed, Wire Wheels, AC!
Brand New Chrome Wire Wheels, Including Red Line Tires!
Almost Brand New Condition Leather Interior Recently Installed!

For sale is a rare 4-speed Jaguar XKE. In the past few years, alot of money has been spent on this car: a new, complete leather interior kit from Barratt (including front and rear leather seats, door panels, English wool carpeting, headliner and sun visors). All the rubber weather stripping is also new in the car. Also note, the front windshield was also replaced and brand new. This Jaguar just had four "top-of-the-line" chrome wire wheels fitted. Four correct red-line tires where installed at that time. All the chrome throughout this car really shows well. The paint is in excellent condition and has a very good look. This is a rare 4-speed factory car and the one to own! It really runs and drives nice. Good oil pressure and good clutch. The brakes are perfect and the steering is also all correct. It is rare to see a Jaguar with an air-conditioning unit that actually works, but this one blows cold immediately. This car has the original underside with no rust issues. It has lived all it's life in the West and sold new in the State of California. This car is sold as-is and at a fair reserve price. This is alot of car for the money! I would be more than happy to assist with any shipping needs.

Bought car from individual in Dudley, MA July 2010 and now in Hilton Head Islanbd, SC. Good looking car, but paid too much. Needs lots of work. Many errors from repainting; missing nuts and bolts, broken parts, wiring an absolute mess. I restored an XK-150 which I still drive regularly, so I should be able to tacke this mess.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
