Opening bid $34k, no reserve, no bids yet. Buy it now price $35k.
Sellers comment:
This Series II E-Type Jaguar is in excellent condition both inside and out. The car was just restored to its original condition. The interior has a new dash, armrests & sets. The exterior paint is less than 3 months old, and the top is brand new. I purchased this vehicle in June of 2000 and have spent over 35K to bring this car to show condition with full documentation.
This car is finished in red over black and has a 4.2 liter engine, 4 speed transmission and wire wheels. It has a 6 cylinder engine; the last year this car was made. It has 50k original miles and all numbers are matching. No expense was spared to restore this car to its original condition. A custom car cover is included. It has always been garaged and never been driven in bad weather.
Vehicle Condition
Excellent - ready to drive and to be enjoyed.

Sellers description:
This E-type roadster is a 1971 model with all numbers matching with 53K original miles. It has a stunning red exterior paint and a black interior. The exterior paint is about 2 years old and the interior is less than 6 months old. I purchased the vehicle in June 2000. Following the purchase, I had the Jag delivered to a professional Jag Mechanic. It underwent an extensive and thorough mechanical revitalization.
All hydraulics were redone, both clutch and brakes. All 4 disc brakes were rebuilt with high performance pads and turned rotors. All four wheel suspensions were replaced. All electrical wires were inspected and repaired or replaced. All new tires on freshly polished stock wire wheel. Engine cooling system was completely disassembled and refurbished, including new caps, hoses, coolant and rebuilt cooling fans. The block was flushed to remove any contaminants. Both carbs were completely disassembled and refurbished, including rebuilding the distributor, new diaphrams, gaskets, seals etc. The ignition system was completely serviced, disassembled and refurbished, including rebuilding the distributor, new plugs, cap, rotor, ignition wires replaced, new ignition switch and alternator. All hoses, belts and heat shields were removed and replaced. There is a new windshield wiper motor. The trunk seal and gas cap door rubber stoppers were replaced. The tool kit and jack in bag were cleaned. The spare tire wire wheel was polished. The engine compartment was detailed and shows very well. The entire interior was removed, including door panels, seats, dash panel, carpet, console, rear trim, and floor insulation backing. Every square inch of the interior was cleaned. The front windshield was replaced. The new seat covers, headrest, armrest, shifter boot and dash were installed less than 6 months ago. A New CD/Radio including speakers was installed into the console dash. I still have the original radio. All rubber seals on bumpers, doors top, engine mud guards and bonnet were removed and replaced with new.
The exterior was stripped from the paint. There were no evidence of rust or bondo with the exception of very light surface oxidation in several areas that was easily cleaned up with steel wool. The floor boards were treated with a rust preventative spray and were reinforced. There was a new convertible top installed. All mechanical work is well documented on this car. Unfortunately, the body shop that did most of the work is out of business (not many old cars in this town need the restoration) and I don’t have any documentation on the body work. However, the work is evident even in the pictures.
As most of you know, these vehicles are rapidly increasing in value. This is one of the best E-type for the price. This Jag is ready to be enjoyed. It will make a great driver, just jump in and go!!

My car 2r14173, is missing the bottom end of the front bonnet and this one is missing the top portion. One of us has to do a trade to have a complete car. I can't find these chrome pieces anywhere. Johnnie
