Beautiful Original Paint Complete New Leather Interior

I Know it is hard to buy a used vehicle of this caliber sight unseen, so I am providing as much information as I can for you. I am the 3rd owner of this beautiful specimen and the previous owner is one of my best friends.
This Jag was produced in England in Aug. 1970. It rolled off the factory floor in a stunning Sable exterior paint and Ivory leather interior. This was one of the last 6 cyliders produced (the Series III J-12 CYL started production in 1971) and is quite rare and desirable. This vehicle was shipped to Honolulu, Hawaii, where It's Owner was waiting anxiously.. The Proud owner then brought it to the mainland and eventually sold it thru a Ferrari dealearship in California. One of my best friends saw it, fell head over heals in love with it, and purchased it. He loved, pampered and enjoyed this Jag for several years. He then decided to rebuild her at approximately 90K miles and proceeded to completely rebuild the top and bottom end of the engine and a complete transmission rebuild including bearings, syncros, and seals. The odometer now show 120,123 miles indicating 30K miles on new motor. My friend enjoyed driving this fresh Jag as a commuter to college 30 miles away for several more years. He then graduated and joined the coast guard. Prior to reporting to duty, he had the Jag professionally stored in his parents private garage. The car was pickled and prepared for long term storage, including double car covers for extra protection. His father would periodically turn the crank over to move the lubricants around and would inspect the general condition during storage. The Jag remained in storage for about 25 years.
I purchased the vehicle in Jan of this year. Following the purchase, I had the Jag delivered to a professional Jag Mechanic in Turlock, Calif. It underwent an extensive and thorough mechanical revitalization.
All Hydraulics were redone, Both Clutch and Brakes
New braided Hoses
Slave and Master Cylinders Hydraulics
All 4 disc brakes were rebuilt with high performance pads and turned rotors
4 new Dunlop Tires on freshly Polished stock Wire Wheels
Engine cooling system was completely disassembled and refurbished, including new caps, hoses, coolant.
The block was flushes to remove any contaminants
Both carbs were completely disassembled and refurbished, including rebuilding the distributor, new diaphrams, gaskets, seals etc.
Ignition system was completely serviced, disassembled and refurbished, including rebuilding the distributor, new plugs, cap, rotor, and ignition wires wer replaced.
All fluids were changed, including filters
All hoses and belts were removed and replaced
The fuel tank was removed from the vehicle, disassembled and boiled to remove any contaminants, was coated, painted, and refitted with new filters and sending unit.
The spare tire wire wheel was polished.
The tool kit and jack in bag were cleaned and polished and look great.
The trunk panels were in excellen condition and only required color matching to the new interior. The original trunk mat was replaced with new velour carpet and padding (including new chrome snaps) provided by GAHH Interiors of Hollywood, Calif.
The trunk seal was replaced and gas cap door rubber stoppers.
The engine compartment was detailed and shows very well.
New Exaust was fitted from the center back including factory chrome exaust tips.
The entire interior was removed, including door panels, seatas, dash panel, carpet, console, rear trim, and floor insulation backing. Every square inch of the interior was cleaned, and inspected with NO EVIDENCE OF RUST with the exception of very light surface oxidation in several areas that was easilycleaned up with steel wool. The floor boards were treated with a rust prevenitive spray prior to replacement of new carpet and upholstery.Acomplete new carpet kit was installed including new insulation.
New Ivory leather seat covers, headrest, armrest, and a full hide of Connly equivalant leather was purchased and delivered to an upholstery shop, specializing in exotic cars. They spent 2 full weeks redoing the interior and its components. Every square inch of the original interior was redone with this beautiful leather. All cushions were either rebuilt or replaced. All metal upholstery shrouds wer sanded, primed, and painted prior to upholstering. The complete interior was put back together and it looks AWESOME, better than factory.
A New 200 watt CD/Radio was installed into the leather console dash including high end speakers. Souns great. Even comes with a remote control.
All rubber seals on bumpers, doors top, engine mud guards and bonnet were removed and replaced with new- followed by a marathon 3-day polish and touch up of the original Sable paint. I couldnt believehow nice it looked after all these years. Its not perfect but is definitely respectable.
I Purchased almost all of the replacement parts from "terry's Jaguar Parts in Benton ILL. The interior components, including the carpet and matching dye leather were purchase from GAHH in Hollywood, Calif. NICE STUFF!
I have maintained all of the receipts for the work I have performed over the past 10 months and have taked many digital pictures to show the restoration process. Photos/disc and receipts will be provided to buyer.
The Lucky buyer will also receive many extra parts and over 100 collectible E-JAG Magazines, a variety of service manuals, (including the original factory manual and owners handbook). I will also include a Brand ne in-box $200.00 dollar custom car cover to help protect your new investment.
This car runs fantastic, and looks even better. It feels mechanically like new. This Jag is absolutely stunning to look at and even more fun to drive.
This Jag is a great investment, much more stable than the stock market, and you can have fun as your investment increases rapidly. How can it get better than that?
This Jag is restored and is ready to enjoy. It will make a great driver, just jump in and go!!
As most of you know, these vehicles are rapidly increasing in value. There have been some examples sold recently at some famous collector car auctions for ENORMOUS amounts of money. Dont miss your chance to own one. Buy direct here with no auction seller fees.
This Jaguar drives and sounds like no other vehicle I have ever driven...Smooth...Tight...and Responsive. It is a fabulous example and will be cherished by the LUCKY ne owner.
Apparently this is the only car listed as a piece of art. It is one of the sexiest Roadsters ever conceived by Man.
You would be hard pressed to find another one in this kind of condition.
Vehicle Condition
Please be aware you are bidding on a vehicle that is over 30 years old. Even though I have spent many hours on this restoration, as with most older vehicles, they require continuous TLC. I have tried to describe this vehicle as accurately and a shonestly as I can ( as I would want it described to me). This vehicle has never been in an accident. The more I look at it the more beautiful it gets.
There is a small hole in the top that has been repaired
Normal signs of aging of the Chrome
Small imperfections in the paint
