1971 Series 2 4.2 Jaguar E-Type Roadster
Original Car
VIN#: 2R14280

You are bidding on a very rare 1971 6 cylinder Jaguar E-Type.
This car is in beautiful original condition inside and out.
This Jaguar was manufactured in August 1970 and is one of only 1,232 lhd "2R" chassis number OTS produced.
This is an all original E-Type. Look closely at the pictures of the interior, the trunk, the spare wheel (never used), everything really. This car has never been restored and is an example of a true original. There is a dent in front of the driver's door where the door strap broke when opening door, causing it to open too wide.
This Jag is ready to roll as a driver that you can enjoy from the moment you take the keys. Or, if you are of a mind to, you can put in a little elbow grease and work to detail the engine and the undercarriage and have a winning show car.
If you were to restore another car to show condition it would cost you tens of thousands of dollars (probably over $60,000.00). With this Jag, to clean the undercarriage and engine and make this a show quality car you would likely only have to spend a few thousand (depending on how much you like to work on it yourself).
Includes the original jack, Thor hammer, owner's book, tonneau cover and boot cover.
Get ready to enjoy the cleanest original E-Type that you are likely to find!
