This is a coveted original southern California car, an extremely rare and collectible 1971Jaguar XKE E-Type Series II convertible with a 4 speed manual transmission and it's original matching #'s 6 cylinder 4.2L/246HP engine in 'Old English White' color paint with its original 'Black' leather interior, factory air conditioning and all five original Jaguar wire wheels!
The car's original factory options included:
Air conditioning,
4 speed manual transmission,
chrome wire wheels,
tinted glass,
adjustable steering wheel,
The car was recently serviced at the renown 'British European Auto Excellence'; a renown classic Rolls Royce, Bentley and Jaguar independent specialist of San Pedro, California, who completed further preventive maintenance including a full service, showing very strong compression of no more than 10% between all cylinders @ 135-150 psi over all 6 cylinders, for piece of mind turn key ready driving today!
The floor boards and all the typical rust-prone areas are completely solid and rust-free! The car has no signs of any accidents of any kind with a very straight body with absolutely no rust. This striking 'Old English White' older color paint is in very good condition and the car looks extremely impressive with a lovely all original 'Black' leather interior which is also in complete and mostly all original condition, showing only very minor signs of patina. The original door panels, headliner, dashboard and carpets are all in very fine condition also. The chrome is all very good and straight with only extremely minor and quite acceptable pitting for its age. The car has it's original chrome wire wheels and it's original chrome spare wire wheel in the trunk compartment.
This is therefore an extremely rare opportunity to own a very rare mostly all original surviving example of an unmodified 1971 Jaguar XKE Series II 4.2L convertible with factory air conditioning in very fine condition throughout being offered for the Jaguar enthusiast to enjoy or indeed for any British classic car lover!
