Note, without exception that I know of cars with VINs beginning with 2R and 1971 model year cars, even though listed as a 1970, which VINs began with 1R. This car has all the features of a '71 model year car that the '70 did not have. Model years during this period were very specific due to increasing emission and safety regulations which were changing every year.
