Advertised for sale on Carsales.com .au 20 March 2019 asking AUD$139,950.
Seller’s description follows: “This is a barn find, and not for the purest, it is a 1962 factory delivered right hand drive E-Type Series 1 with a 4.2 litre engine and a full synchro 4 speed gearbox. The engine and gearbox have been fully reconditioned and are very strong. The Jag drives very well and has good brakes. The bonnet of this E-Type is a Series II Bonnet. The body has no visible rust, the paint is in very average condition and could do with a respray. This example will be sold unregistered and in "as is" condition” (end of seller's description).
One of the photos on Carsales .com.au shows the number 7E3192-9 stamped on the cylinder head. This is the engine number of 1E30834. 1E30834 has a replacement engine said to come from a 1967 Series 1, presumably without its original cylinder head since it appears to be on 850461’s replacement engine.
