The car has undergone a recent restoration to a high standard including a repaint in Golden Sand and a re-trim in red leather. One of the last UK delivered 3.8 litre RHD fixed head coupes. Currently for sale at Historic Motorsport of Much Wenlock.

Genuine UK right hand drive example

Restored to a very high quality

Registered on 28th July 1964, this beautiful E-Type presents in fabulous condition. The car was originally registered in Jersey and has only had two keepers from new. A two year major restoration project took place between 2012 and 2014 resulting in one of the finest E-Types we have seen. The underside of the car is as clean as the top and the panel gaps confirm that the restoration carried out is of the highest quality. Finished in the original colour combination of Opalescent Golden Sand with red leather interior, this genuine UK right hand drive example has to be viewed in person to appreciate the quality.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
