In 1991 875294, as well as 875159, where in the hands of and old-car dealer in Florida. In early 1993, 875294 was advertised in Hemmings Motor News. It was described as being a 1961 model year car, with flat floors and welded-in louvers. It was described as an original rust-free car superbly restored to concourse quality," and the restoration was said to have taken two-and-a-half years. "No expense was spared . . . "undoubtedly the finest example of the early car anywhere in the world. In late 1993, a Canadian collector was considering purchasing the car.
