All the features of a first 500 car except the outside latches: welded louvers, flat floors, no fins on engine sump, straight bulkhead behind the seats. Has convertable hardtop also.

Unsure as to originality of engine head. Head carries R2114-9, but block is from a MK-II sedan. Presently looking for the number plate (car is totally disassembled)

Purchased by me in about 1983. I am at least the third owner. Originally a California car, that evidently saw a lot of miles, as judged by wear on some mechanical components and replaced engine block from a MK-2 sedan. Head appears to be original. Very little rust. Original white body color was first repainted red then, later, silver by previous owners.

Is completely disassembled. Presently considering restoration options. Looking for the number plate so I can confirm the various component numbers.

This car has all the features of a first 500 car except the outside bonnet latches. Has flat floors, welded-in louvers, no fins on the sump, and straight bulkhead behind the seats. Also has a factory hard top.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
