    Ebay item 6/23/11

Current bid $6,600, no reserve, 25 bids 4 days left in auction.

    Sellers description:
1962 E type Jaguar Roadster in terrible condition. It was running when parked about 20 years ago needing only repair to an internally lleaking master cylinder. Soon after, storage was lost and the Jag was parked outside covered by tarps. The result is what you see here. I do not know if the motor has seized but it was running strong when parked. The floors are completely rusted through, as are areas under the hood. It would be best as a donor car or have the complete body replaced. The hood is just resting on the car now, as we had to remove it because a frozen hinge. The car is of course being sold AS IS, where is Mechanicsville MD (Southern Maryland)

Current bid $18,300 reserve not met, 19 bids 3 days left in auction. Buy it now price $27,500.

    Sellers description:
1962 E-type roadster is the most desireable E-type there is as it has the 3.8 liter engine. The car is mostly complete, it does steer and roll easily. Everything matches on the data plate except for the cylinder head, which has been changed. This is not a flat floor car as it has the dishes in the floors. The air filter, the tools and the jack are missing. I do have a clear title. The car is being sold for a total restoration.
