The famous E-Type "TUF4" car was built on the identity of a 1963 E-Type Roadster. This all aluminium low drag Coupe was completed in 1999 built into an R.S. Panels. It is fitted with a fresh 360bhp-320ft lbs torque all aluminium Crosthwaite and Gardiner engine; this is mated to an all synchromesh Moss gearbox.
The car has been developed to full appendix K specification and full period lightweight specification; the car weighs 925kgs depending on running spec, i.e. with or without silencers. It has correct uprights and steering modifications making this one of the best GT cars racing today.
This is by far the most competitive and successful Jaguar in historic racing. It won the Spa 6-hours in 2002 and 2008 and many, many wins in Gentleman Drivers, GTSCC, Eiffel Klassik, Oulton Gold Cup, Guards Trophy, and many more wins.
