Ebay item 1/19/04
cgi.liveauctions.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Info posted for live auction in Phoenix 1/23/04 RM auction. Auction starts at $35k. Their estimated value is $75k - $100k

Sellers comment:
This restored example is finished in black with a red interior, just as it was when it left the factory in 1963. It was the subject of a comprehensive frame-off restoration that was completed in May 2000. The focus of the restoration was to build a champion for concours circuit. In October 2003 in Hershey, PA, this example was the AACA Senior National Winner. In 2001, 2002 and 2003, this example was a JCNA Class Champion and scored 99.97333 out of 100. Having already garnered so many prestigious awards and with only fifteen miles on the odometer since restoration, this example is certainly worthy of being placed in any of the finest collections for future showing, touring or just driving.

This restored example is finished in black with a red interior, just as it was when it left the factory in 1963. It was the subject of a comprehensive frame-off restoration that was completed in May 2000. The focus of the restoration was to build a champion for concours circuit. In 2001, 2002 and 2003, this example was a JCNA National Class Champion and scored 99.97333 out of 100 points in the notoriously strict judging regimen of the national club.

Having already garnered so many prestigious awards and with less than 18,500 miles on the odometer since restoration, this example is certainly worthy of being a centerpiece of the finest collections – whether for continued concours judging or enjoyment on the road as envisioned by Lyons and his team so many years ago.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
