Sellers description:
This 1964 Series 1 - 3.8 Jaguar XKE Rodster has been owned in Southern California by it's current owner since 1980. It has been garaged for all that time and has been driven less than 2,000 miles in the past 30 years. It received a body and interior restoration in the 90's. .It has been started and driven around the block regularly over the time and all mechanical and appearance items kept up. Recent mechanical work includes front suspension overhaul including rack overhaul, tie rod ends, steering u-joint, bellows, wheel bearings, shocks, brakes including master cylinders, u- joint ,Clutch slave cylinder, engine mounts replaced and engine tune-up, electrical wire harness replacement, carburator overhaul and fuel pump replacement. All receipts for the past 10 years are available.
It has it's spare tire on spoke wheel and jack.
The car has been a hobby and is a true pleasure to drive. It runs well and will provide many miles of driving enjoyment.
The soft top was replaced when the restoration was done and is in great shape.
The car has been kept true to it's 3.8 Series 1 origins and still has it's generator and original Moss transmission.
