Ebay item 4/27/17 www.ebay.com/itm/1964-Jaguar-XK-/282448957220
Classified ad price$75,000, seller classics-rescue, 58k miles.
Sellers description:
This Jag is titled as a 64 but based on its serial number, I believe its actually 1963 production. We get some goofy projects in and I guess this would qualify, the prior owner of this roadster was a car mechanic by trade and in the era before these were valuable. He installed a V6 and gearbox from a 90s Ford mustang, the work looks to have been well done and the car is actually fun to drive but should undoubtedly be returned to Jaguar mechanicals. Fortunately, instead of selling of the factory bits he removed or sending them to the scrap year, the parts were saved and are included. I have not done a nuts and bolts inventory but all the major assemblies are present, I will assist in packing and shipping these for the new owner.
