This 1964 Jaguar XKE is a Series I roadster powered by a replacement 3.8-liter DOHC inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission. The car was repainted from its original cream to light blue in the early 1990s, and reportedly received an interior refurbishment in tan leather in 2009. This XKE was purchased by the current owner in 1991 and is now offered on her behalf with some service records, a removable hardtop, a Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate, a jack, and a clean Arizona title.
Originally finished in cream, the exterior was repainted in light blue in the early 1990s. A color-matched removable hardtop is included in the sale. No soft top is currently fitted, though the bare frame is included.
15″ knock-off wire wheels are wrapped in 205/65 Hankook Optimo H724 tires wearing 2015 date codes.
New tan leather upholstery, carpets, and door panels were fitted in place of the factory dark blue interior during a 2009 refurbishment. The seller notes that the seats are incorrect, and rubber floor mats and an MEI cassette deck have been added.
The five-digit odometer shows 31k kilometers (~19k miles), 15k of which were added by the current owner. Total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 3.8L twin-cam inline-six was installed during previous ownership and is equipped with three carburetors and a cylinder head from a Jaguar Mark X. It is paired with a four-speed manual transmission. The car was last serviced in 2018 according to the seller. Corrosion is visible on the underside.
The Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate lists a manufacture date of January 9, 1964 along with the factory colors. Partial service records are included in the sale.
