This car appears to have more series 2 parts than expected in an early series 1 4.2.

This should be a 3.8 car, there are many Series 2 parts, including, engine, interior, dash and radiator.

This is not a March 1964 xke. There are numerous 4.2 parts on this car that are raising a red flag everywhere. The most important is the lack of a vin plate, motor, dash and any other March 1964 identification. I emailed the seller.

Hopefully John S will get some answers, looking very much like a '68 car with an early bonnet.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
