This matching numbers 3.8 Litre 1964 Jaguar E-type was supplied new to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, originally supplied with the registration '8162 WK' a designation normally given to Jaguar's own "works" racing cars. This E-type was exported to the U.S for Mr. J. W. Deeming and was shipped as a 'Personal Export Delivery' E-type.

With extensive history dating back to December 1968, the first recorded mileage of 10,910 can be found a receipt dating from 1969 from a RAYMONF IMPROTED MOTORS of Cincinnati, Ohio at which time the E-type was owned by a Mr. Larry Heil with receipts present for his ownership going through to 1987.

By 2008, the E-type was beng looked after by a Sports and Vintage Race Car company based in Georgia and owned by Mr. Richard Snyder. The first record of Mr. Snyder's ownership dates from 1989 in Carmel, Indiana and receipts also from South Carolina under the same ownership.

Eventually in 2010, the E-type was exported back to the UK, supplied with original Georgian title, the E-type remained in Mr. Snyder's ownership until this time. Upon being importing back to the E-type was stripped and as such begun the restoration.

After 6 years in restoration, E-Type UK acquired the project and took the E-type back to bare metal, finishing the E-type in its original exterior colour of 'Opalescent Golden Sand'. This matching numbers E-type is ready to be finished to your desired specification, all work carried out by our expert team of technicians.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
