This car is sitting out in the open behing Daniel Schmidtt. There is no interior, engine, gearbox or front suspension on the car.
The car appears to be a project that was abandoned after the bodywork was done and the painting completed. The sheetmetal all appears to be in excellent condition and the balance of the parts are in a trailer on the property. I was told by the salesman that the car is waiting to be shipped to a buyer in Texas who has a collection of E-Types and who intends to restore this one.

So much focus on originality, but body sadly received repro bonnet turned into lookalike original welded louvers bonnet.... (see pictures).

What else?

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
