Ebay item 10/18/17
www.ebay.com/itm/1962-Jaguar-E-Type-XKE-/112599915196
Car has a buy it now price of $59,900 for 6 days, seller deo_vindice, 33k miles.

Sellers description:
Factory original + Matching numbers!

Car has all 4 of its data markings in tact and in original unmolested condition.

JAGUAR HERITAGE CERTIFICATE .. All tags/numbers are in their place and match this 1962 XKE

This XKE recently "retired" here to Florida from an estate where she can get some sun, live peacefully with only a chance of a passing hurricane to worry about, but now its time to move her on to the next owner. This is one of the highest sought after early Series 1 models. Its hard to find a genuine 1962 Coupe and this car has all the usual early early Series 1 trademarks to look for like the factory aluminum console and instrument with correct crosshatch pattern, original factory reinforced contoured seats, all data, body, gearbox and chassis numbers still visible on the car.

Car had been stored with several other vehicles and had most pieces apart to be restored. Car has only 33-34k miles on her. While about 95% complete (missing 3 pieces of glass and some chrome) this car has virtually all vital unique XKE parts known in this model, including the wire rims, drivetrain, original bonnet, original doors original body panels and much more....

Upholstery had a redo a few years back and looks nice. No accidents on this car ever, Body does have some dings, mostly on the front hood and on the belly pan. NO RUST THROUGHS on the hood, Rest of body is good, original and solid. Floors are also original as you can see with only some dents in the lower floorpans and some isolated small floor holes in spots reworked through the years, but most all is still original and intact...If you've ever dreamed of owning a 62 XKE then this may be your best chance to own one.

THE CAR IS YOURS. EASILY WORTH $59,900 OBO ASKING PRICE....

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
